The stacked casitas drawing made me think of the Americans with Disabilities Act. How would someone in a wheelchair get from the ground floor garage to the next-floor living space? I agree the casitas would make good granny flats. I live near PA's Amish country and they have a tradition that once the kids leave, the parents move into a smaller house on the property. The son who's managing the farm moves into his parents' home, as he's married with kids.
Ya, not sure how that would work for ADA. The one I toured had that big ramp outside. I saw other photos of the 2 story ones and all I saw were spiral staircases. Could be a good question to ask if I can tour the factory in the future.
Nice, yes! Could be good for multi-generation housing options.
